Come and pamper yourself and your family at our Bed and Breakfast

La Compagnia is a family owned Guest House. Our guests are always welcome and we provide them with the same standard of service, amenities and hearty breakfast that we would like for ourselves when we are on a business trip or on holiday.
Whether for business or pleasure, La Compagnia will be a perfect location for your stay.

La Compagnia is located in the heart of the countryside just near the hills on one side and the famous Riviera on the other side. Situated in a quiet road among cultivated lands and fruit trees, we are just a few minutes away from town centres and the motorway is only a few miles away. The Guest House is situated in the grounds of a 19th century House, recently renewed but retaining many original features. There are two double bed rooms available for our guests, both with private baths, and a dining room where the home made breakfast is served (biscuits, cakes and jams are all home cooked).

La Compagnia has its own ample private parking and a garage for motorbikes and bicycles. By prior agreement it is also possible to use the open air fireplace to barbecue.
The big garden that surrounds the whole guest house is rich in attractive spots where our guests may relax under the shadows of high trees, eg. a centuries-old magnolia, sunbathe or play in the quiet of the nature.

All the several plants of the garden have been carefully selected in order to guarantee colours and scents all over the year. We also have a small orchard and a kitchen garden where we cultivate fresh herbs and vegetables. If you would like to experience being a farmer for a while we would be very glad to give you some basic tips.

A little about us...

The original manorhouse dating back to 1700 belonged to a congregation of nuns called “Congregazione delle Suore della Compagnia”. This is the reason why the B&B is named “La Compagnia”. During the Napoleonic era, after the religious company was abolished, the house was acquired by privates, then bought and sold several times till nowadays.

Over the years it was noteworthy modified more times and renovated after the Second World War. The present look goes supposedly up to the end of 19th Century, when the owner converted the house in a manor house with a farmhouse, its courtyard and a wide garden nearby.

Last renovation has highlighted the typical features of the building, such as ceilings with wood beams, handmade bricks walls, wonderful wrought iron gratings in Liberty style, original window frames and floor in terracotta tiles.
This renovation has also provided it with all modern technologies, such as solar panels, Tv and Wi-Fi in every room.
